Sussex Mental Healthline 0300 5000 101
The Sussex Mental Healthline is a telephone service offering support and information to anyone experiencing mental health problems including stress, anxiety and depression. The service is also available to carers and healthcare professionals. You do not need an appointment.
From spring 2020 callers will dial 111 and ask for the Sussex Mental Healthline. The same service will be available but you will be able to access urgent help and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week, no matter where you are in Sussex. The team is also expanding to include registered mental health professionals.
We’ll let you know when the change is happening but don’t worry, the existing number – 0300 5000 101 – will continue to work, you’ll be automatically diverted to 111.
If you or someone you know is having suicidal thoughts, the Samaritans run a 24 hour helpline.
