In order to make a positive impact on our minority communities, we need to understand peoples experiences of health care services within the last two years, how the pandemic has affected people individually and in their household, and consider best ways to support individuals and their community as we learn to live with Covid-19.

Accessing NHS services in a different way

Health services have changed during the Coronavirus crisis, and many people have had to access care in a different way to how they did before the crisis.

We want to understand, where people have accessed care in a different way, what this was like for them. We also need to understand why people might not have accessed care, and therefore how we need to provide information and support in the future.

This engagement has now closed. We will report back on our findings presently.

Digital Champions programme

As part of the NHS England Digital Skills initiative we would like to invite interested members of Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) to become Digital Champions for their GP surgery. Digital Champions will take ownership of the Digital Skills promotion within their practice and, depending upon the needs of the practice, arrange suitable activities or promotional work.
